The Nick Jr. rebrand was not only fun but an extremely challenging project. Previously Noggin, whose original purpose was an educational channel, Nick Jr. was cast as the "Smart Place to Play" geared exclusively for pre-schoolers.

Working collaboratively with Karin Fong at Imaginary Forces, we created an extensive underlying architecture and visual library that could be mixed in unlimited combinations to produce a fun, fashionable, sophisticated, engaging and ownable television package. The architecture consisted of building blocks made of the nick jr. letterforms that could be combined to form environments that the nick jr. characters could live in. Patterns were also developed from the network shows' characters and themes.
